Welcome to Tokachi Base Camp, our new lodge in Kamifurano, located just below the beautiful Tokachi mountain range in the heart of Central Hokkaido.
Like all our homes, the idea is simple: create a comfortable base where guests can relax after a day outdoors and enjoy the slower rhythm of life in rural Japan.
One of the best things about staying here is the location. The lodge is surrounded by small local Japanese restaurants, all within walking distance. It’s the perfect place to enjoy great dinners and discover the local food scene before heading back home to rest.
Kamifurano is a quiet town between Furano and Daisetsuzan National Park, known for its open landscapes, fresh air, and easy access to nature.
Tokachi Base Camp is a simple, welcoming place to stay — a home for travelers who enjoy good days outside and relaxed evenings close to home.
