The 2025 winter season in Central Hokkaido gave us exactly what we came here for: deep snow, cold days, quiet mountains, and some of the best powder conditions in Japan.
This video is a recap of our season skiing and snowboarding around Central Hokkaido with the Yukiumi House crew and our guests. From early morning starts to long powder runs, storm days, tree riding, splitboard missions, and shared moments in the mountains, it brings together the feeling of a winter lived fully in the snow.
Central Hokkaido is a special place for backcountry skiing and snowboarding. The combination of cold temperatures, consistent snowfall, and unique terrain creates the kind of snow that riders dream about: light, dry, deep powder that seems to reset again and again throughout the season.
For us, these days are not only about the riding. They are about the full experience: moving through the mountains, reading the snow, sharing decisions, finding good lines, enjoying the silence of the forest, and ending the day with tired legs and big smiles.
The 2025 season was filled with unforgettable turns, good people, and moments that remind us why we choose to live and work here in Hokkaido.
